Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 84(1)(a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
The Effect of the Order: To introduce a '20mph Zone' on the following roads

From a point approximately 84 metres from its junction with Gleneagles Way north east for its entire remaining length (approximately 80 metres) including private drives and turning heads.

(Rectory Lane, Rivenhall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Lane, Rivenhall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Rickstones Road to its junction with Forest Road a distance of approximately 545m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th September 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30087481434 -UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Forest Road, Rickstones Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 29th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18i»months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Spains Hall Road, Finchingfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spains Hall Road, Finchingfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 1210m north west of the junction with Duck End for a distance of approximately 195m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30097281885 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Tinkers Green Road, Cornish Hall End, Little London Hill, Howe Street, Duck End and vice versa (with access only into Spains Hall Road). The Order will come into effect on 29th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Black Notley in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 120m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th September 2024 for 35 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30090923126 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via The Street, Witham Road, The Green, Witham Road, The Street, Church Hill, The Street, Faulkbourne Road, Flora Road, Powers Hall End, Chipping Hill, Braintree Road, Cressing Road, Witham Road, Braintree Road, Cressing Road, A120 J B1018 Roundabout, Braintree Bypass, A120, Garden Village Way Roundabout Springwood Link, Garden Village Way, Garden Village Way Roundabout At Business Park, Garden Village Way Roundabout Cuckoo Way, London Road Roundabout, London Road, London Road Roundabout North, Great Notley Avenue, Bakers Lane, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 29th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Feering Road, Coggeshall/Coggeshall Road, Feering) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Feering Road, Coggeshall/ Coggeshall Road Feering in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 1000m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFLWWW2D/BC008WFLWWW2D1 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Coggeshall Road, London Road, A12, A120, Colchester Road or Colchester Road, Prince of Wales Roundabout, A12 and Coggeshall Road. The Order came into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Jaspers Green, Shalford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Jaspers Green, Shalford in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 630m north west of the junction with Hall Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th September 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFGCHC7K01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Jaspers Green, Shalford Road, Kynaston Road, Church End, Braintree Road, Church End, Shalford Green, Shalford Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Maldon Road, Kelvedon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maldon Road, Kelvedon in the District of Braintree, from its junction with London Road to its junction with Brockwell Lane a distance of approximately 105m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2024 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001339834 -Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Kelvedon Road, Braxted Park Road, Maldon Road, Maypole Road, Kelvedon Road, Inworth Road, Feering Hill, High Street and vice versa (with access only into Maldon Road).
The Order came into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Polecat Road, Cressing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Polecat Road, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Witham Road a distance of approximately 650m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2351666 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Polecat Road, Church Road, Temple Lane, Witham Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Rayne Road, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic (Eastbound Only) & (Aetheric Road, Braintree) (Temporary Introduction of No Left Turn into Rayne Road) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Rayne Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Aetheric Road for a distance of approximately 120m in an easterly direction (eastbound only).
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Left Turn' restriction from Aetheric Road into Rayne Road for the duration of the above closure only.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2024 for 5 nights (19:00-05:00) or where stated on a valid permit (N7103DIS150334-13 - Virgin Media). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Virgin Media. An alternative route is available via Rayne Road, Rayne Road Roundabout, Back on Rayne Road, Pierrefitte Way, High Street, St Michaels Road, South Street, Railway Street, Coggeshall Road - Railway Street Junction, Coggeshall Road, Bank Street and Rayne Road.
The Order came into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
