Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being East Street, Newquay from junction on Grosvenor Avenue to junction on Cliff Road.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Newquay) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 (Class 111) Grosvenor Avenue for its entire length. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because water connection works are being executed on or near the road
The Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 27th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700 on a daily basis, weekdays only. Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 26th August 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Padstow. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th September 2024 to 10th September 2024.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only. Roads affected - High Street, Padstow for its entire length, St Saviours Lane, Padstow from junction with Cross Street to just past Oak Terrace. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 26th August 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin.
This prohibition is necessary for gully defect works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th September 2024 to 11th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only. This prohibition is necessary for tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th September 2024 for one day. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 26th August 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Boscastle. This prohibition is necessary for ducting and gully sucking works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th September 2024 to 20th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekends included. Roads affected - New Road and Gunpool Lane for their entire lengths, Boscastle.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Quintrell Downs. This prohibition is necessary for removal and replacement of Level Crossing and it is expected that the closure will be from 28th September 2024 to 29th September 2024.
