ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

ACACIA ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Boundary box installation.
Order Commences: 4 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.
Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

D20050 BAZZARD ROAD, BRAMCOTE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of Lutterworth Road and Thompson Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 2 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Lutterworth Road, Temple Hill, Church Hill, Bulkington Road, Bazzard Road and vice versa.

D16690 BEDWORTH LANE & D16700 WOODLANDS LANE, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of the Dove Close and Astley Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 3 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Astley Lane, Smorrall Lane, Heath Road, Newtown Road, Woodlands Road and vice versa.

D1820 NEWLAND LANE, ASH GREEN, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with High View Drive.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs, Friday & Monday only.
Order Commences: 6 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion available. Access/Egress will be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only.

FIFE STREET, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works for internal manhole repairs.
Order Commences: 2 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 6 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Fife Street, Duke Street, Manor Court Road and vice versa.
Contractor: For STW, Customer Solutions Plus, Tel: 03456 027 723.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

LANCING ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Amberley Avenue.
Reason for Order: To enable works for a new water connection.
Order Commences: 11 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Lancing Road, Arundel Road, Amberley Avenue and vice versa.
Contractor: For STW, Network Plus, Tel: 01589 658 32.

BULL RING, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road will be closed to vehicular traffic. In addition, traffic will be prohibited from making a right turn from B4112 College Street into Bull Ring.
Reason for Order: To enable works for replacement of jointbox frame and cover.
Order Commences: 15 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Bull Ring, College Street, Griff Way vice versa.
Contractor: Conley Utilities, Tel: 01675 446 285.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (GIPSY LANE, NUNEATON) (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which imposes a 40-mph speed limit on the length of road mentioned in the Schedule below.

The Order commences on Monday 2nd September 2024.

A copy of the Order, together with a plan showing the length of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, during usual opening hours and on the Council’s website https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20207/nuneaton-bedworth-borough.

Any enquiries relating to the Order may be made to Ben Davenport, Communities Directorate, Warwickshire County Council (telephone number 01926 412 071).

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

40MPH SPEED LIMIT

Gipsy Lane, Nuneaton
From a point 23 metres west of the centre of its roundabout with Marston Lane in a westerly direction for a distance of 750 metres towards the Coventry Road.
