(Crawley – West Green: Ifield Road & Various Roads)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:-

Albany Road; Alpha Road; Church Street; Deerswood Road;

The Dingle; Ewhurst Road, between Reynolds Road and Ifield

Road; Ginhams Road; Goffs Lane, between Ifield Road and

Snell Hatch; Ifield Road, between Church Street and The Dingle;

Leopold Road; Lodge Close; Meadowlands; Princess Road; Reynolds Road; Small Mead; Snell Hatch; Town Barn Road, between Town Mead and Crabtree Road; Town Mead.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas mains renewal works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 2 September 2024 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed. It is anticipated works will commence on or after 2 September 2024 and will be completed by 23 December 2024. The roads will not all be closed at the same time. Signage will indicate when roads are closed.
