What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(SWAN RAKE AND LIMERS RAKE, HOLLINSCLOUGH) (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
Staffordshire County Council on 27/8/24 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prevent any motor vehicle from being driven along Swan Lake and Limers Rake, Hollinsclough. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Pl, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Leek Library, Nicholson Institute, Stockwell St, Leek or at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/ trafficregulationorders. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 2/9/24. 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 20/8/24 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along: 

Bennetts Ln, Bramshall and Loxley Ln, Loxley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=138829084. The Order will come into operation on 30/8/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 4/9/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Network Rail works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 27/8/24 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of:

Cheddleton Heath Rd, Cheddleton Heath. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=139861096. The Order will come into operation on 4/9/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 6/9/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the remedial works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Uttoxeter Rd, Blythe Bridge. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=139310018. The Order will come into operation on 2/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 3/9/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the annual level crossing testing, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Coppice Ln, Winnothdale. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=139307600. The Order will come into operation on 4/9/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 5/9/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the cabling works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Ladymoor Ln, Ladymoor Gate. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=139183746. The Order will come into operation on 4/9/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 6/9/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the rebuilding of a hydrant chamber works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Woodhouse Ln, Biddulph. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=138982023. The Order will come into operation on 30/8/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/8/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of:

Stallington Rd, Blythe Bridge. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=139106388. The Order will come into operation on 14/9/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 15/9/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the level crossing rerail and inspection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY ONE-WAY REMOVAL

New St, Leek. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of New St, Leek. As a result, a temporary removal of the one-way restriction on Horton St and Union St will be implemented. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=139498030. The Order will come into operation on 16/9/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 20/9/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the laying of a new gas service works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
