NOTICE OF INTENTION TO DISPOSE OF OPEN SPACE LAND BY WAY OF A FREEHOLD SALE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123
FORMER LANDFIL SITE AND LAND AT HOWDON PARK, HOWDON LANE, WALLSEND
Notice is hereby given that The Council of the Borough of North Tyneside intends to dispose of the following land for residential development:
FORMER LANDFIL SITE AND LAND AT HOWDON PARK, HOWDON LANE – open space measuring circa 12.8 Hectares. The land forms part of the open space area known as the former landfill site and land at Howdon Park, Howdon Lane, Wallsend. It is located East of Howdon Lane and West of the A19. A plan showing the area concerned may be viewed on the Property Page on the Council’s website www.northtyneside.gov.uk
By virtue of Section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) the Borough Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of open space and consider any objections to the proposed disposal. Any representations or objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to the Strategic Property Team at the email/ address below by Wednesday 18th September 2024.
