THE LEICESTER (HORSEFAIR STREET) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:
Prohibit parking, waiting and loading at any time on Horsefair Street between its junction with Bowling Green Street and a point 20 metres west thereof from 7.00am on Tuesday 10th September 2024 until 7.00pm on Friday 20th September 2024.
This order is necessary due to manhole works taking place and to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public.
This Order will come into effect on the 10th of September 2024 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
