Braidley Road, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Sewer Repair Works
What is happening?
BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL
BRAIDLEY ROAD, BOURNEMOUTH -SEWER REPAIR TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHAT:
- Road closed to all vehicles and
- No parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time
WHERE: Braidley Rd, from the northern property boundary No.28 to its junction with St Stephen's Rd
WHY: Repairing two collapsed sewers, work to be carried out by Wessex Water
WHEN: Anticipated dates: Tuesday 27th August 2024 until Tuesday 6th September 2024
ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
DIVERSION: Via remainder of Braidley Road, Wimborne Road, Richmond Hill Roundabout, Richmond Hill, St Stephen's Road, St Stephen's Way and vice versa.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
