Lordstones Country Park, Public Footpath & Bridleway Diversion Order
What is happening?
NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNCIL NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY 54 (PART OF) & PUBLIC FOOTPATH 200 GREAT BUSBY & PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY 554 (PART OF), PUBLIC FOOTPATH 762 & PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY 763 BILSDALE MIDCABLE (LORDSTONES COUNTRY PARK, RAISDALE) DIVERSION ORDER 2024
The above Order, made on 8 August 2024, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the existing bridleways and footpaths onto more visible and easier-to-follow routes through the grounds of Lordstones Country Park, as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Globe Library, North Road, Stokesley, Middlesbrough, TS9 5DH until 20 September 2024. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased at a reasonable cost by contacting Legal and Democratic Services, North Yorkshire Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, YO11 2HG. Tel: (01723) 232490 (quoting reference PJM/126749). Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Legal Services, North Yorkshire Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO11 2HG no later than 20 September 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made and quote the reference above.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the North York Moors National Park Authority may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
