RUNCORN AND WIDNES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Date Order to come into effect: 9 September 2024
Note: the closures are for Halton Borough Council to carry out carriageway surface dressing. The actual closures are expected to be over a period of approximately 12 days from 09.09.24 to 20.09.24 between 1900 hours and 0600 hours only. For further information please contact: 07919 538704.
THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (VICTORIA ROAD, WIDNES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Road(s) affected: Victoria Road, Widnes - from junction at roundabout to junction with Lacy Street and Bold Street.
Date Order to come into effect: 10 September 2024
Note: the closure is for the re-construction of the carriageway for approximately 175 linear metres and is expected to be over a period of approximately 24 working days, from 10 September 2024 to 11 October 2024. For further information please contact: 07484 009640.
THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (A558 DARESBURY EXPRESSWAY, RUNCORN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Road(s) affected: A558 Daresbury Expressway, Runcorn:
- On slip from Norton Priory (Eastbound)
- Off slip to Norton Priory (Westbound)
Date Order to come into effect: 11 September 2024
Note: the closures are for street lighting maintenance and upgrade and are expected to be over a period of approximately two days.

Reason for making the Orders: the Council is satisfied that traffic on the roads should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads.
Effect of the Orders: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in or along the roads.
Alternative Routes: where available suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided.
Maximum duration of the Orders: 18 months from the date the Order comes into effect.
