What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (DARLTON DRIVE AREA, ARNOLD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024 (7274)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Arnold in the Borough of Gedling: -
Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road:
Darlton Drive, Arnold (north-east side)
- From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Farm Road in a southeasterly direction to a point 10 metres south-east of that junction.
- From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Langford Road in a south- easterly direction to a point 10 metres southeast of that junction.
Darlton Drive, Arnold (south-west side)
-From a point 10 metres north-west of its junction with Saunby Close in a south- easterly direction to a point 10 metres southeast of that junction.
Farm Road, Arnold (east side)
-From its junction with Darlton Drive in a northerly direction for 13 metres.
Farm Road, Arnold (west side)
-From its junction with Darlton Drive in a northerly direction for 14 metres.
Langford Road, Arnold (both sides)
- From its junction with Darlton Drive in a northerly direction for 15 metres. Saunby Close, Arnold (east side)
-From its junction with Darlton Drive in a southerly direction for 10 metres.
Saunby Close, Arnold (west side)
-From its junction with Darlton Drive in a southerly direction for 11 metres. Relevant documents may be inspected at during opening hours: -
a) The Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, NG2 7QP
b) Arnold Library, Front Street, Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 7EE
THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 27th AUGUST 2024 Or by visiting the County Council’s Website (https://consult.nottinghamshire.gov.uk )
The proposals have been introduced to deal with inconsiderate parking at these junctions.
