What is happening?

Manchester City Council proposes to make the CITY OF MANCHESTER (BENDIX STREET, PICCADILLY) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING/UNLOADING, DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACE, GOODS VEHICLE LOADING/UNLOADING, AND LIMITED WAITING PARKING PLACES AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2024 under the Road traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the proposed Order is as follows;

No Waiting At Any Time on
Bendix St both sides from its junction with Oldham Rd in a NW direction for 17.5m

No Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and Sat 8am-12.30pm on
Bendix St: the NE side from a point 57m NW of Oldham Rd in a NW direction to Chadderton St
Bendix St the SW side from a point 17.5m NW of Oldham Rd in a NW direction to with Chadderton St

No Loading At Any Time on Bendix St both sides from Oldham Rd in a NW direction for 17.5m
Limited Waiting 2 Hours, No Return Within 1 Hour Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and Sat 8am-12.30pmon;
Bendix St the NE side from a point 24.1m NW of Oldham Rd in a NW direction for 18.9m with width 2m.

Disabled Persons Parking Place width 2.7m on; Bendix St NE side from a point 17.5m NW of Oldham Rd in a NW direction for 6.6m

Goods Vehicle Loading Parking Place on Bendix St NE
side from a point 43m NW of Oldham Rd in a NW direction for 14m width 2.7m.

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the above proposals. A copy of the proposed Order together with the statement of reasons and plan showing the proposals may be inspected by appointment at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB)between hours of 9am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday.
