ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 23
PROPOSED PEDESTRIAN CROSSING - A186 CITY ROAD
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police gives notice of its intention to establish a pedestrian crossing at the following location -
Puffin Crossing A186 City Road - 25 metres northwest of its junction with Horatio Street.
2. The proposed pedestrian crossing is necessary to improve road safety and provide better crossing facilities for pedestrians.
3. If you wish to view the documents relating to the pedestrian crossing (including the Notice and plan showing the location), please email a request to streetworks@newcastle.gov.uk

4. Any comments regarding the proposed pedestrian crossing should be sent in writing by 16th September 2024 quoting reference TR/ P44/1341 to Newcastle Parking Services, P.O. Box 2BL, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE99 2BL or by email to traffic.notices@newcastle.gov.uk
