Jenny Becketts Lane, Mansfield - Temporary Prohibition of Driving to Enable Severn Trent Water to Carry Out Pipework Repairs
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (JENNY BECKETTS LANE, MANSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024 (M24-136)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Mansfield in the District of Mansfield.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road:
a. Jenny Becketts Lane, Mansfield - From its junction with Clifton Grove to its junction with Norbury Drive.
2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting loading and unloading (Both Sides) (At any time) in the following length of road: a. Jenny Becketts Lane, Mansfield - From its junction with Clifton Grove to its junction with Norbury Drive.
3. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
4. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 08:00 Hours, Monday 26th August 2024 Until 17:00 Hours, Friday 30th August 2024, Inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be: a. A6191 Southwell Road West - Berry Hill Lane and Vice Versa
The Order will come into force on Monday 26th August 2024 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out.
The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
