Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
Brasted Hill, Brasted (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Westerham Cycling Club Event
Kent County Council intends to make an Order for the safety of the public whilst an event is being held on the highway to temporarily prohibit the use of Vehicles on:-
Brasted Hill, Brasted between The Nower and Pilgrims Way.
The alternative route is via The Nower, Hogtrough Hill, Pilgrims Way and vice versa.
The Order will become effective on 22 September 2024 between 10.00hrs and 11.00hrs. The restrictions/prohibitions specified in this notice will apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs in operation.Nothing in the Order will apply to:
• Any Vehicle being used for Ambulance purposes, Coastguard/RNLI, Fire Brigade or Police services.
• Anything done by a Statutory Undertaker vehicle in connection with an emergency repair.
• Anything done with the permission or at the direction of Event Organisers or a Police Constable in Uniform.
Castle Hill, Hartley, DA3 7AA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Hill, Hartley, on or after 3rd September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Ballantrae.
The alternative route is via Castle Hill, Fawkham Road, B260 Main Road, Hartley Road, Ash Road and vice versa.
Coldharbour Road, Penshurst, TN11 8EX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coldharbour Road, Penshurst, on or after 4th September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed adjacent to Coldharbour Farm Oast.
The alternative route is via Smarts Hill, B2188 New Road, Grove Road, Finch Green and vice versa.
Furnace Lane, Cowden, TN8 7JU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Furnace Lane, Cowden, on or after 5th September 2024 for up to 1 day between 08.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Scarletts Oast and Little Basing Farm.
The alternative route is via Furnace Lane, Holtye Hill, A264 Holtye Road, Shepherds Grove Lane, Smithers Lane, Furnace Lane and vice versa.
Hale Oak Road, Sevenoaks Weald. TN14 6NG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hale Oak Road, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 17th September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Lodge, Moorcroft Farm.
The alternative route is via Hale Oak Road, Bowzell Road, Bowzell Green, Baileys Hill Road, Bore Place Road, B2027 Tonbridge Road, Hale Oak Road and vice versa.
Hever Avenue, West Kingsdown, TN15 6HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hever Avenue, West Kingsdown, on or after 2nd September 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 45.
The alternative route is via Hever Avenue, Astor Road, Hever Wood Road and vice versa.
Hockenden Lane, Swanley, BR8 7QD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hockenden Lane, Swanley, on or after 4th September 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between B2173 London Road and Swanley Full Gospel Church.
The alternative route is via Hockenden Lane, B2173 Maidstone Road, B2173 Bartholomew Way, B2173 High Street, B258 Goldsel Road, B258 Green Court Road, B258 Broadway, B258 Cray Road, B258 Crockenhill Road, Sheepcote Lane and vice versa.
Lingfield Road, Edenbridge, TN8 6PS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lingfield Road, Edenbridge, on or after 3rd September 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Haxted Road and Stable Court.
The alternative route is via Lingfield Road, B2026 Mont St Aignan Way/High Street/Mill Hill, B2028 Marsh Green Road/Moor Lane/Racecourse Road, Station Road, Crowhurst Road, Haxted Road and vice versa.
Penshurst Lane/Road, Leigh. TN11 8HP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach pole replacements, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Penshurst Road, Lane/Leigh, on or after 19th September 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between B2027 Penshurst Road and Cinder Hill Lane.
The alternative route is via Penshurst Road, B2176 Station Hill, B2176 Moorden Lane, B2027 Tonbridge Road, Penshurst Lane and vice versa
Puddledock Lane, Westerham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Toys Hill Village Show
Because of Toys Hill Village Show, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Puddledock Lane, Westerham, on or after 7 September 2024 for up to 1 day between 12.20hrs and 18.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside The Village Hall.
The alternative route is via Puddledock Lane, Toys Hill and vice versa.
Rashleigh Way, Horton Kirby, DA4 9DG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of a new gas connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rashleigh Way, Horton Kirby, on or after 2nd September 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 5.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Victoria Road, Edenbridge, TN8 5BU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Victoria Road, Edenbridge, on or after 5th September 2024 for up to 1 day between 08.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 4.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
