Maidstone, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

MAIDSTONE AREA

B2010 Lower Road, West Farleigh (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2010 Lower Road, West Farleigh, on or after 16th September 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Corner Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2010 Lower Road, Dean Street, B2163 Heath Road, B2163 Ewell Lane, B2010 Lower Road and vice versa.

 

B2079 Goudhurst Road, Marden, TN12 9NJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow well maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2079 Goudhurst Road, Marden, on or after 3rd September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside the Pumping Station, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2079 Goudhurst Road, Sheephurst Lane, B2162 Maidstone Road, B2162 Collier Street, Green Lane, Underlyn Road, B2079 Maidstone Road, B2079 High Street, B2079 Church Green, B2079 West End, B2079 Goudhurst Road and vice versa.

 

B2163 Heath Road, Coxheath, ME17 4TT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow lining and signage replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2163 Heath Road, Coxheath, on or after 3rd September 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Coppice Road to the junction of Culpepper Road, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any westbound through traffic is via B2163 Heath Road, A229 Linton Road, A229 Sheals Crescent, Old Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 Lower Road, B2163 Ewell Lane.

The alternative route for any eastbound through traffic is via B2163 Ewell Lane, B2010 Lower Road, College Road, A229 College Road, A229 Mill Street, A229 Palace Avenue, A229 Lower Stone Street, A229 Upper Stone Street, A229 Loose Road, A229 Linton Road, B2163 Heath Road.

 

Brishing Road, Boughton Monchelsea, ME17 4GB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brishing Road, Boughton Monchelsea, on or after 3rd September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed adjacent to Christen Way, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Brishing Road, Brishing Lane, B2163 Heath Road, Brishing Road and vice versa.

 

Coldharbour Road, Otterden & Lenham, ME17 2DY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coldharbour Road, Otterden, on or after 3rd September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Bunce Court Road to the junction of Waterditch Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Waterditch Lane, Warren Street, Bunce Court Road, Coldharbour Road and vice versa.

 

Darman Lane, Paddock Wood (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow fire hydrant works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Darman Lane, Paddock Wood, on or after 16th September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Darman Bridge and Pike Fish Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Darman Lane, Queen Street, Mile Oak Road, Pearsons Green Road, Churn Lane, B2162 Maidstone Road, B2162 Claygate, Spenny Lane, Claygate Road, Darman Lane and vice versa.

 

Grace Avenue, Maidstone ME16 0RD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Grace Avenue, Maidstone, on or after 16th September 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between 40 and 50. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Grace Avenue, Hyde Road, Grace Avenue and vice versa.

 

Hockers Lane, Detling, ME14 5JZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow permanent reinstatement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hockers Lane, Detling, on or after 2nd September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Annexe. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hockers Lane, Ware Street, Thurnham Lane, Pilgrims Way, The Street, Hockers Lane and vice versa.

 

Ulcombe Road, Headcorn, TN27 9JX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ulcombe Road, Headcorn, on or after 5th September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside White Willow Oast. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ulcombe Road, Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Headcorn Road, Lenham Road, Ulcombe Hill, The Street, Headcorn Road, Crumps Lane and vice versa.

 

Warmlake Road, Sutton Valence, ME17 3LP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Warmlake Road, Sutton Valence, on or after 2nd September 2024 for up to 57 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Warm Haven. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A274 Maidstone Road, B2163 Plough Wents Road, Chart Corner, Amber Way, Warmlake Road and vice versa.
