M4 MOTORWAY - JUNCTION 10 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the M4 Motorway in the Unitary Authority of Wokingham, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the overnight closure of all roads connecting the M4 to and from the A329(M) at Junction 10 (A329(M)).

These measures would be in the interests of road safety while contractors working on behalf of Wokingham Council undertake resurfacing works on the A329(M) and all associated works. It is expected that the work would last for approximately 1 week starting on or after Monday 9th September 2024. The overnight closure would take place between 21:00 and 06:00 (maximum period). Please see the National Highways website for further details. The Order would come into force on 7th September 2024 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete.

Traffic affected by the closures would be diverted via other junctions of the M4 and by using the B3270 and then take the A329, the A3290 or the B3350 and the A4 as required. The closures and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
