(A449 Worcester Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of A449 Worcester Road from its junction with U63100 St. Anns Road to its junction with Queens Drive (NSG Ref 24407147).
Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A449 Belle Vue Terrace, A449 Wells Road, B4218 Wyche Road into Herefordshire, B4232 West Malvern Road, B4232 North Malvern Road, A449 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 25 August 2024.
(C2221 Upper Welland Road, Malvern Wells) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2221 Upper Welland Road from its junction with A449 Wells Road to its junction with U63035 Assart Lane.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A449 Wells Road, A4104 Little Malvern, A4104 Marlbank Road, C2221 Upper Welland Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 28 August 2024.
(U61233 Dunns Lane, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U61233 Dunns Lane from its junction with U61238 High Street to its junction with U61232 Severn Drive.
Reason: Remedial works by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U61232 Severn Drive, U61235 Court Street, A4104 High Street, U61238 High Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 17 September 2024.
(C2260 Madresfield Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2260 Madresfield Road from its junction with B4208 Pickersleigh Road to its junction with Langland Close (NSG Ref 24411278).
Reason: Utility works by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4208 Pickersleigh Road, U63334 Sherrards Green Road, C2260 Madresfield Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 27 August 2024.
(U63219 Moorlands Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U63219 Moorlands Road from its junction with A449 Worcester Road to its junction with C2232 Graham Road.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing/pre surface dressing patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2232 Graham Road, A449 Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 16 September 2024 and 4 October 2024.
(U63219 Moorlands Road/U63211 Cockshot Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure)
Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: U63219 Moorlands Road from its junction with C2232 Graham Road to its junction with U63211 Cockshot Road. Closure 2: U63211 Cockshot Road from its junction with U63219 Moorlands Road to its junction with A449 Worcester Road.
Reason: Pre surfacing dressing patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: A449 Worcester Road, C2232 Graham Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 16 September 2024 and 4 October 2024.
(U63534 Blackmore Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U63534 Blackmore Road from its junction with U63535 Nursery Road to its junction with U63533 Hawkwood Close.
Reason: New vehicle crossing (dropped kerb) by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U63534 Blackmore Road (part), B4503 Newtown Road, U63526 Hornyold Avenue, U63527 Hornyold Road, U63532 St. Peters Road, U63534 Blackmore Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 27 August 2024 and 30 August 2024.
(C2107 Strensham Road, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2107 Strensham Road from its junction with C2107 Naunton to its junction with C2107 Ryall Grove.
Reason: Verge rebuild and carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2107 Ryall Grove, A38 Tewkesbury Road, C2107 Naunton, C2107 Strensham Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 27 August 2024.
(B4219 Cowleigh Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4219 Cowleigh Road from its junction with B4232 North Malvern Road to its junction with U63530 Pump Street.
Reason: Street Lighting by Prysmian Cables and Systems.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Please note: no through road access for emergency services, please use diversion route.
Alternative route: B4219 Cowleigh Road (part), U63527 Hornyold Road, B4503 Newton Road, A449 Worcester Road, B4232 North Malvern Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 29 August 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath GU-505 (part) Guarlford) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024
Order made: To close Footpath GU-505 (part) from OSGR 8370 4517 to OSGR 8365 4537.
The Order has been made as a result of a damaged footbridge.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: There is no alternative route.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 7 August 2024.
