Waterworks Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Cable Overlay Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U93612, Waterworks Lane, Leominster, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U93612, Waterworks Lane, Leominster, from the junction of Caswell Road to the junction of Worcester Road. Grid Ref: 350130/258659.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Caswell Road onto Caswell Crescent, onto Worcester Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to cable overlay works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 2nd of September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 weeks.
