(Various Roads, Ayr, Prestwick and Monkton) (International Air Show) (Temporary Road Closure, Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Banned Turns) Order 2024
On 15th August 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the abovenamed Order in support of the International Air Show.

John Street into Fire Station Roundabout - No U Turn.
The Order commences on 06 September 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The Event is expected to commence from 06 September 2024 at 00:01 until 07 September 2024 at 23:59
The Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected
Access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians within the working zone will be maintained via permit system. Stewards will be in place at accesses to allow entry to residents and deliveries with appropiate pass or delivery note for resident within the Event area
