THE A1 TRUNK ROAD (BETWEEN BLYTH AND APLEYHEAD, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN LAYBYS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an order on the A1 Trunk Road, between Blyth and Apleyhead, in the County of Nottinghamshire, to enable resurfacing works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close any layby adjacent to the A1 between the centreline of the A614 overbridge, at Blyth, to the centreline of Apleyhead Interchange overbridge, at Apleyhead.
The layby closures will be in operation for twenty four hours per day and are expected to start at 22:00 hours on Sunday 1 September 2024 and continue for approximately one week. The Order will come into force on 26 August 2024.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
