Bolton Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic For A45 Cycle Route Scheme

(NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the service road of SMALL HEATH HIGHWAY leading to Bolton Road.
As part of this order, it will also be necessary to introduce One Way traffic along BOLTON ROAD travelling in the direction from a point outside 48 Bolton Road towards its junction with Small Heath Bridge/Jenkins Street.
The Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and One Way Traffic is required to facilitate the delivery of the A45 Cycle Route scheme by Birmingham City Council.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 4th of September 2024 and will remain in force for a period of TWO WEEKS or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
