ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT

ESTABLISHMENT OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that St Helens Borough Council in exercise of its powers and having consulted with the Chief of Police under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to install a pedestrian crossing at the location indicated in the Schedule below.

Sherdley Road. St Helens

Segregated pedestrian and cyclist crossings only to be placed at signal controlled segregated pedestrian and cyclist crossings

A segregated pedestrian and cyclist crossing only to be placed at signal controlled segregated pedestrian and cyclist crossings on Sherdley Road, St Helens, approximately 20 metres north of its junction with Elton Head Road.

The extents of the controlled area are:

From a point approximately 4 metres north of its junction with Elton Head Road for a distance of approximately 35 metres in a northerly direction.

Any person wishing make representations must do so in writing to the undersigned, via traffic@sthelens.gov.uk or the postal address provided, within a period of 21 days from the date of this notice, specifying the grounds on which they are made.
