(School Lane Collingham, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)
Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for works to replace gas main. Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along School Lane,
Collingham, Leeds in the Harewood Ward between its junction with Millgarth
Court to outside 8 Millgarth Court Westbound. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn left onto School Lane, Collingham from the following streets:
Millgarth Court, Garth Avenue, Garth End, Hollybush Green and Jewitt Lane.
A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:
Jewitt Lane, Main Street, Leeds Road, School Lane (eastbound). Essential
access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 27th August 2024
and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 9th September 2024. The closure will be in place for 24 hrs on each day.

(Frankland Grove/Frankland Place, Chapeltown, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for works to install cable overlay. Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that:
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Frankland Grove,
Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between its junctions with
Hamilton Place and Frankland Place and no person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to travel along Frankland Place, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel
Allerton Ward between its junctions with Francis Street and Louis Street.
A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:
Francis Street, Hamilton Place, Louis Street and vice versa. Essential access
to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 29th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are
completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday
4th September 2024. The closure will be in place for 24 hrs on each day.

Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for gas mains replacement Leeds City Council has made an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along:
Highbury Road, Headingley, Leeds in the Weetwood Ward at the junction with
Highbury Mount. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Highbury Mount, Highbury Street, Monk Bridge Road, Highbury Road and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 29th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for
Yorkshire Water pressure management works. Leeds City Council intends in
not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No
person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Dixon Lane, Lower
Wortley, Leeds in the Farnley & Wortley Ward between its junctions with Dixon Lane and Kenilworth Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Lower Wortley Road, Greenside Road, Dixon Lane.
Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be
maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday
9th September 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of
18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for
electrical works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make
an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit
any vehicle to travel along Back Estcourt Avenue, Headingley, Leeds in the
Headingley & Hyde Park Ward between its junctions with Canterby Drive and
Canterbury Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will
be available via: Canterbury Drive, Estcourt Terrace, Canterbury Road. Essential
access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 10th September
2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the
works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by
Monday 16th September 2024. The closure will be in place between 00:00

(Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road Closure required for live drainage connection works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Wortley Moor Road, Upper Wortley, Leeds in the Farnley & Wortley Ward, these works are due to take place outside DSL House at the junction with Wortley Moor Lane. 2. No person shall cause or permit any pedestrian to travel along Definitive Footpath 187, at it’s junction with Wortley Moor Road opposite property 273. 1. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Silver Royd Hill, Tong Road, Upper Wortley Road and vice versa. 2. A diversionary route for pedestrians affected by the closure of Definitive Footpath 187 will be available via: Definitive footpath Leeds 187, Definitive Footpath Leeds 188, Blue Hill Grove, Blue Hill Lane and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 10th September 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Westgate, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for a footway closure to facilitate s278 works. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to
make an Order the effect of which will be that: No pedestrian shall proceed
along the Westgate footway in the Little London Woodhouse ward, from Grace Street to outside the Castle Street Carpark. A diversionary route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be available via: Phase 3 (09/09/24-18/10/24) – Westgate, Lisbon Street, Castle Street, Little Queen Street, Grace Street and vice versa. Phase 4 (21/10/24-01/11/24) – Westgate, Little Queen Street, Grace Street and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 9th September 2024 and will remain in force for a
maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The works are expected to be completed by Friday 1st November 2024.
The closure will be in place between 07:00 and 18:00 hrs on each day.

A Coultate (Bridleway Leeds 5) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
The Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make
the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (BRIDLEWAY LEEDS 5) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE)
ORDER 2024. The Order will close to equestrians, pedestrians and all other
users; Bridleway Leeds 5, from Cookridge Lane in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 550 metres to Rushes Farm. The closure will be in effect between 09:00 and 16:30, Monday to Friday inclusive. The diversion routes will be (i) for pedestrians – via Cookridge Lane, then proceeding easterly on Definitive Footpath Leeds 7, then northerly on Definitive Footpath Leeds 8 to Definitive Bridleway 5, and vice versa; and (ii) for cyclists and equestrians – via the A660 Leeds Road, Holt Lane and Cookridge Lane, and vice versa. The Order is necessary to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken near the bridleway. The Order is due to come into operation on 9 September 2024. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 September 2024, at which time the Order will cease to have effect. The Order may however continue in effect to 9 March 2025, or such time as may be required by the progress of the works. (Speed Limit) (No.6) Order 2024 20mph Zone,
Calverley and Farsley Ward
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council has made the LEEDS CITY
COUNCIL (SPEED LIMIT) (NO.6) ORDER 2024 under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce a 20 MPH Speed Limit (Zone) on the entire lengths of the following roads: BACK LANE;
BECKBURY CLOSE; BECKBURY STREET; BROOM MILLS ROAD; BURTON
STREET; GAUNTS PLACE; LAWSON COURT; MILL BECK CLOSE; OLD FOLD;
PROSPECT STREET; PROSPECT TERRACE; ST JOHNS VIEW; WOODHALL
CLOSE; WOODHALL CROFT; WOODHALL ROAD. The Order was made on
15 August 2024 and will come into effect on 27 August 2024. A copy of the
Order and plan are available on request by writing to Traffic Engineering, City
Development, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR or e-mail troteam@leeds.gov.uk , or
viewing online at http://www.salford.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/roads/
traffic-orders/. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any
provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers
conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of
that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in
relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 15 August 2024 apply to the
High Court for such purpose.
(Traffic Regulation) (Movement Order) (No.8)
Experimental Order 2024
School Streets Phase 4 Ireland Wood &
St. Bartholomew’s Primary Schools – Prohibition of Traffic
Leeds City Council has today made the above Experimental Order under the
powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the
Experimental Order which comes into force on the 2 day of September 2024
(and which will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months) is to
introduce the following traffic management measures: A Prohibition of Access
to Motor Vehicles (Mondays to Fridays from 8.15am until 9.00am and from
2.45pm until 3.30pm) subject to a site-specific exemption for Permit Holders
and Disabled Badge Holders on: Raynel Gardens, Lawnswood (The entire
Length, running between Raynel Drive and Raynel Way). 2. A Prohibition of
Access to Motor Vehicles (Mondays to Fridays from 8.15am until 9.00am
and from 3.00pm until 3.45pm) subject to a site-specific exemption for
Permit Holders and Disabled Badge Holders on: Southfield Street, Armley
(The entire Length) and Strawberry Lane, Armley (The Entire Length running
from Tong Road to its termination). The Council’s Chief Officer (Highways and
Transportation) may under Section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 modify or suspend the operation of the Experimental Order or any of its
provisions if it appears to him to be essential. The Council will be considering
in due course whether the provisions of the Order should be continued
indefinitely. Full details of the proposals in the form of a draft Order together
with plans showing the affected lengths of highway and statement of reasons
for making the Orders are available on request by e-mailing troteam@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to or make representations concerning the making of the Experimental Order for the purpose of indefinite continuation, you should write to City Development, Merrion House, Leeds LS2 8LX or e-mail troteam@leeds.gov.uk  specifying the grounds on which your objection or representation is made by not later than 3 March 2025 quoting reference M0824/EXP. if any person wishes to question the validity of this Experimental Order or any of their provisions on the grounds that it is within the powers conferred by the Act or
that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has
not been complied with, that person may within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply for that purpose to the High Court.

(No.26) Order 2013 – Amendment No 1 Order 2023
Leeds City Council has today made the above Order, under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order which comes into force on 26 August 2024 is to introduce: 1. No Waiting at any time on sections of: Back Clarence Rd; Broadgate Walk; Broadway, Castlewood Cl, Church Cres & La; Drury La, Hall Park Ave; Hawksworth Rd; Knoll Wood Park, Knott La, Layton Ave, Layton Cres, Leeds Rd, Long Row, New Road Side, Throstle Nest View and Wood La, Horsforth. 2. No Waiting (Monday to Saturday from 8.00am to 6.00pm) on sections of: Church Ave, Clarence Drive (SW side);
Intake La (both sides), New St (SE side); Town St (NE side). 3. No Waiting
(Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 6.00pm) on a section of Wood La. 4. On
St Time Limited Parking (All Days & hours – 4 Hours no return within 4 Hours
on Long Row, Horsforth (SE side); From a point 10m NE of North Broadgate La, for a distance of 12m in a NE direction (subject an exemption for Permit
Holders). 5. On St Time Limited Parking (All Days & hours - 2 Hours no return
within 2 Hours on New St, Horsforth (SE side); From a point 13m NE of New
Cres, for a distance of 37m in a NE direction. 6. On St Parking Places for
Vehicles Displaying a Permit (all days and hours) on Back Clarence Rd,
Horsforth (SW side); from a point 5m NW of its junction with Clarence Rd, for
15m in a NW direction (subject an exemption for Permit Holders). 7. On St
Permit Parking Zone (Monday to Saturday 8.00am to 6.00pm on Knoll Wood
Park, Horsforth (both sides); from a point 20m north of its junction with
Outwood La, for the remainder of its length.
