What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN GRANGE LANE, LETCHMORE HEATH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE Is given that Hertfordshire County Council Intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Grange Lane, Letchmore Heath from Its junction with Summerhouse Lane south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with The Green, a distance of approximately 623m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Primrose Lane, Round Bush Lane, 3462 Radlett Road, Hilfield Lane,A41 Tylers Way, Dagger Lane, Aldenham Road and The Green. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN B462 RADLETT ROAD, ALDENHAM) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B462 Radlett Road, Aldenham from its junction with New Road south westwards to its northernmost junction with High Cross, a distance of approximately 345m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via B462 Watford Road, Park Road, A5183 (Watling Street/ Cobden Hill/Wating Street Elstree Hill North/High Street), A411 (Watford Road/Elstree Road/Sparrows Herne/High Street/London Road/Chalk Hill) and B462 (Aldenham Road/ Hartspring Lane/Radlett Road). ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF REPTON GREEN, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Repton Green, St Albans from a point 80m north west of its junction with Therfleld Road westwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road"), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because electrical works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NEWLANDS AVENUE, RADLETT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Newlands Avenue, Radlett from its junction with Park Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 82m ("the Road"), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, LEVERSTOCK GREEN, HARPENDEN AND ST ALBANS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-

1. that length of Westwick Row, Hemel Hempstead/Leverstock Green from its junction with Green Lane south eastwards and southwards to its junction with A4147 Hemel Hempstead Road, a distance of approximately 1568m.

An alternative route will be via Green Lane and A4147 (Leverstock Green Road/Hemel Hempstead Road).

2. that length of Ay res End Lane, Harpenden from its junction with A1081 Harpenden Road north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its southernmost junction with Ferrers Lane,

a distance of approximately 1671 m.

An alternative route will be via A1081 (Harpenden Road/St Albans

Road), Cross Lane, Pipers Lane and Ayres End Lane.

3. that length of Sandridgebury Lane, St Albans from its junction with A1081 Harpenden Road north eastwards, north westwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junctions with B651 High Street, a distance of approximately 2749m.

An alternative route will be via A1081 Harpenden Road, Beech Road and B651 (St Albans Road/High Street). The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 29 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF JAMESON ROAD, HARPENDEN) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Jameson Road, Harpenden from its junction with Clarendon Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road").

An alternative route will be via Clarendon Road, Ox Lane and Jameson Road.

The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 27 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE EXISTING WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN ST PETERS CLOSE, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to temporarily suspend the existing waiting restrictions on the north east side of St Peters Close, St Albans from a point 23m north west of its junction with A1081 St Peters Street north westwards for its entire length ("the Road"), whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because the refurbishment of an existing property known as No.7 St Peters Close is proposed to be executed near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
