What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE COLINDALE AVENUE NW9
The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate safe lifting/installation of steelworks concourse on to railway, they have made an Order which will temporarily close Colindale
Avenue NW9 outside Colindale Underground Station, while the works take place.
The Order will commence at 10pm on 1st September 2024 and is expected to last for 8 nights.
The alternative routes for motorists will be via:
(a) Booth Road, Montrose Avenue, Watling Avenue and A5 Edgware Road
(b) Colindale Avenue, A5 Edgware Road, Colindeep Lane, A41 Watford Way, Aerodrome Road, Colindale Avenue.
Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer, a Civil Enforcement Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
