ROTHERHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) PART OF POPLAR AVENUE AND

PART OF ROCKLAND DRIVE THRYBERGH ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice from Tuesday 27th. August until Friday 30th. August 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes will be via local neighbouring streets.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Installation of Telecoms services).

Schedule

(i)    Poplar Avenue from its junction with A630 Doncaster Road to the Western kerb line of Fullerton Drive.

(ii)   Rockcliffe Drive from its junction with Poplar Avenue for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a Southerly direction.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

VARIOUS ROADS AT MALTBY ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the eight parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice for periods of time between Monday 2nd. September and Wednesday 9th. October 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets except for cul de sacs.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the six parts of road (Gas main renewal).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Southey Crescent from its junction with Southey Road to the end of the cul de sac.

(ii)   Byron Road back road from its junction with Southey Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction.

(iii)   Littlewood Way from its junction with B6427 Grange Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in an easterly direction.

(iv)   Autumn Drive from its junction with B6427 Grange Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in an westerly direction.

(v)   Delta Way from its junction with B6427 Grange Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in an easterly direction.

(vi)   Manor Road from its junction with Salisbury Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a southerly direction.

(vii)  Churchill Avenue from its junction with Salisbury Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a northerly direction.

(viii) Devonshire Road from its junction with Salisbury Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a southerly direction.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF HOOTON LANE LAUGHTON EN LE MORTHEN ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Hooton Lane, Laughton en le Morthen from a point approximately 130 metres North of its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 100 metres in a northerly direction on Sunday 1st September 2024

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the order will be local neighbourhood streets.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecommunication works).

PART OF B6066 WHITEHILL LANE BRINSWORTH ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of B6066 Whitehill Lane, Brinsworth from a point approximately 50 metres south of its junction with New Brinsworth Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a southerly direction on various occasions between Monday  26th August and Friday 30th August 2024 between 8pm and 6am each day.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via B6066 Rotherham Road, B6067 Treeton Lane, B6067 Mill Lane, B6067 Well Lane, B6067 High Hazel Road, B6067 Treeton Lane, A618 Pleasley Road, A631 West Bawtry Road, A630 West Bawtry Road, A6178 Sheffield Road, A631 Bawtry Road, B6066 Whitehill Lane and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of 2 new manholes and service connections).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF SPRINGWOOD AVENUE AND

PART OF GRANGE AVENUE AUGHTON SHEFFIELD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice from Monday  2nd. September until Tuesday 10th. September 2024 between 8am and 5pm each day. The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Installation of electrical apparatus).

SCHEDULE

(i)    S pringwood Avenue from its junction with Grange Avenue for a distance of approximately 35m in a south westerly direction (the alternative route will be via Springwood Avenue, Aughton Avenue, A618 Aughton Road, Grange Avenue and vice versa).

(ii)   G range Avenue from its junction with Springwood Avenue for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction (the alternative route will be via Grange Avenue, A618 Aughton Road, Aughton Avenue, Springwood Avenue and vice versa).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Clayfield Lane, Wentworth from its junction with B6090 Main Street for a distance of approximately 55m in a north easterly direction on Monday 2nd. September and Tuesday 3rd. September 2024 between 9.30am and 3.30pm each day.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via B6090 Main Street, B6090 Cortworth Lane, Clayfield Lane and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecommunication works).

PART OF COMMON LANE LAUGHTON ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Common Lane from its junction with Laughton Common Road to its junction with Rotherham Lane from Tuesday 27th. August until Thursday 29th. August 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected will be via Laughton Road, Sandy lane, B6060 Green Arbour Road, B6060 Laughton Common Road and vice versa. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the part of road (Installation of Telecoms services).
