What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
(STAINLAND ROAD, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that
no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of
Stainland Road from No.399 to No. 1 Co-operative Terrace for a distance
of approximately 45 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out
and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for
the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected
part of Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road, Branch Road, Beestonley Lane.
It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th August 2024
and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the
works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th August
2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between
the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(SUTCLIFFE WOOD LANE, HIPPERHOLME)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no
person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sutcliffe
Wood Lane from No.1 to No. 12 for a distance of approximately 70 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used
in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is
maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services
is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Sutcliffe Wood
Lane, Station Road, Tanhouse Hill, Brighouse Road, Half House Lane. It is
proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th August 2024 and
remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works
may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th August 2024.
The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the
hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(SADDLEWORTH ROAD, ELLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Rapid Response Telecoms have made an Order the effect of which will be
that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of
Saddleworth Road from No.7A to Exchange Mill for a distance of approximately 100 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Stainland Road, Elland Wood Bottom, Halifax Road, Calderdale Way, Elland Bridge and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the
works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th August
2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between
the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(STOCK LANE, WARLEY)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no
person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stock
Lane from its junction with Cliff Hill Lane to No. 30 Warley Town for a
distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall
not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out
and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for
the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Cliff Hill
Lane, Warley Town Lane, unaffected part of Stock Lane and vice versa. It is
proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th August 2024 and
remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works
may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th August 2024.
The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the
hours of 19:00 & 06:00.
(JAGGER GREEN LANE, HOLYWELL GREEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Rapid Response Telecoms have made an Order the effect of which will be
that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of
Jagger Green Lane from its junction with Station Road to New Road for a
distance of approximately 790 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall
not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out
and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for
the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via New Road,
New Hey Road, Stainland Road, New Road, Claypit Lane, Green Lane,
Stainland Road, Station Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order
will come into operation on 30th August 2024 and remain in force for a
maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed
sooner and the road re-opened on 30th August 2024. The Order will be in
operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(TRINITY ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Wates Construction have made an Order the effect of which will be that
no person shall cause or permit any vehicle or pedestrian to proceed in
the length of Trinity Road from Trinity Cafe to Powell Street for a distance of
approximately 45 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend
to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and
pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the
emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route
is via Harrison Road, Carlton Terrace, Powell Street. It is proposed that the
Order will come into operation on 31st August 2024 and remain in force for
a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed
sooner and the road re-opened on 12th October 2024. The Order will be in
operation during this period between the hours of 07:00 & 19:00 on the
following dates:
Saturday 31st August 2024
Saturday 7th September 2024
Saturday 5th October 2024
Saturday 12th October 2024
(HALIFAX LANE, LUDDENDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works have
made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Halifax Lane from Shepherd
House Track to Deep Lane for a distance of approximately 55 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used
in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is
maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services
is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Deep Lane,
Butts Green Lane, Workhouse Lane, Raw End Road, Birch Lane, Halifax Lane
and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on
26th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months,
notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road
re-opened on 8th September 2024. The Order will be in operation
24 hours daily during this period.
(DRYCLOUGH LANE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Centurion Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which
will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle or pedestrian to
proceed in the length of Dryclough Lane from its junction with Huddersfield
Road for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works
being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and
vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative
route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into
operation on 27th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th August 2024. The Order will be in operation daily
during this period between the hours of 20:00 & 06:00.
(CO-OPERATIVE BUILDINGS, BAILIFF BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Road Traffic Solutions have made an Order the effect of which will be that
no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of
CoOperative Buildings from its junction with A641 Bradford Road for a
distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall
not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out
and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for
the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via
Victoria Road, A649 Wakefield Road, A641 Bradford Road and vice versa.
It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th August 2024
and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the
works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th August
2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between
the hours of 09:30 & 15:30.
(PARK LANE, SOWOOD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Megson Utilities Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that
no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of
Park Lane from No. 3 in a south-westerly direction for a distance of
approximately 106 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out
and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for
the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route
is via Forest Hill Road, New Road, Claypit Lane. It is proposed that the Order
will come into operation on 27th August 2024 and remain in force for a
maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed
sooner and the road re-opened on 6th September 2024. The Order will
be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(SHIP STREET, BRIGHOUSE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Triton Construction Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that
no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ship
Street from its junction with Briggate to Market Tavern for a distance of
approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend
to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and
pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the
emergency services is maintained to closure point. For alternative route
follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation
on 27th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months,
notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road
re-opened on 23rd June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours
daily during this period.
(WICKING LANE, SOYLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no
person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Wicking
Lane from Hall Moor to Wicking Hall Farm for a distance of approximately
110 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian
access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency
services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via
Lighthazles Road, Eccles Parlour, Cross Dikes Road, Ash Hall Lane. It is
proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th August 2024 and
remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works
may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th August 2024.
The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the
hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(SOD HOUSE GREEN, OVENDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no
person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sod
House Green from No. 7 to No. 13 for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained
at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained.
The alternative route is via Ovenden Road, Shay Lane. It is proposed that the
Order will come into operation on 28th August 2024 and remain in force for
a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed
sooner and the road re-opened on 28th August 2024. The Order will be in
operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
(PARK LANE, SOWOOD)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Rapid Response Telecoms intend to make an Order the effect of which will
be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length
of Park Lane from opposite Mount View to opposite Wayside for a distance of
approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend
to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and
pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the
emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Forest Hill
Road, Stainland Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come
into operation on 9th September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum
18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and
the road re-opened on 13th September 2024. The Order will be in
operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(SWAN LANE, OUTLANE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Rapid Response Telecoms intend to make an Order the effect of which will
be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length
of Swan Lane from Old Lee Farm to Old Lee for a distance of approximately
5 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being
used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access
is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services
is maintained. The alternative route is via New Road, Old Lindley Road,
Lindley Moor Road, New Hey Road. It is proposed that the Order will come
into operation on 9th September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum
18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and
the road re-opened on 10th September 2024. The Order will be in
operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(SYKE LANE, LIGHTCLIFFE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Morrison Water Services intend to make an Order the effect of which
will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the
length of Syke Lane from Syke Wells to Bramley Lane for a distance of
approximately 250 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out
and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for
the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Bramley
Lane, Denholme Gate Road, Northedge Lane and vice versa. It is proposed
that the Order will come into operation on 9th September 2024 and remain
in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may
be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st December 2024.
The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(ST JOHN’S LANE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by
Wates Construction intend to make an Order the effect of which will be
that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle or pedestrian to proceed in
the length of St John’s Lane from Pine Street to Trinity Street for a distance
of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out
and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for
the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route
follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation
on 14th September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months,
notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road
re-opened on 21st September 2024. The Order will be in operation during
this period between the hours of 07:00 & 19:00 on the following dates:
Saturday 14th September 2024
Saturday 21st September 2024
