Hard Ings Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Bridge Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL HARD INGS ROAD, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of bridge works proposed to be executed on or near Hard Ings Road, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Hard Ings Road from its junction with Skipton Road to Hard Ings Road Roundabout.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Hard Ings Road (unaffected section), Skipton Road, North Street, High Street, Bridge Street, South Street, Worth Way, East Parade, Bradford Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will be in effect between 08:00 hours on the 31st August 2024 to 22:00 hours on the 1st September 2024 and 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours on the 2nd September 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
