What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Duke Street, Denny from 08:00 on 24/08/24 until 18:00 on 25/08/24. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Stirling Street in a westerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative routes are:
a. Stirling Street, Nethermains Road and Duke Street
b. Glasgow Road, Nethermains Road and Duke Street

Queen Street, Falkirk from 08:00 on 27/08/24 until 18:00 on 30/08/24. The prohibition is to allow for telecommunication works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Queen Street Roundabout in a westerly direction for approximately 35 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Queen Street, Thornhill Road, Firs Street, Victoria Road or vice versa

Alder Grove, Falkirk from 08:00 until 18:00 on 28/08/24. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Langton Road in a northerly direction for approximately 75 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Langton Road, Alder Grove or vice versa

Bean Row, Falkirk from 08:00 on 29/8/24 until 23:59 on 06/09/24. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to number 3 in a westerly direction for approximately 15 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Cow Wynd, Booth Place, Baxter’s Wynd or vice versa

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Wilson Road, Falkirk from 09:30 on 25/08/24 until 09:00 on 26/08/24. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Wilson Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Glasgow Road in a southerly direction on both sides for approximately 45 metres or thereby.
