Esk Valley - Temporary Traffic Regulation

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Various roads in the Esk Valley area, Order 2024, No. 286

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Guisborough Road to The Carrs, Sleights; Egton Lane, Egton; Larpool Lane Whitby; Lease Rigg Lane Grosmont for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 19/08/24 & 31/03/25, due to highway maintenance works. There will be no more than 1 road closed at any one time, for up to 15 days. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Various Roads in Whitby & Surrounding Area, Order 2024, No. 289 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Low Hawsker to Oakham Beck, Hawsker; Sandhill Bank, Commondale; Ellergates, Lealholm; Rake Lane to High Farm, Lealholm; High Farm to Southgate Farm, Lealholm; Cross farm, Egton; High Street to East End, Egton; Front Street, Grosmont; Dean Hall Brow, Ugglebarnby; Moor Lane, Aislaby; Aislaby Lane, Aislaby; War memorial to Cow Wath Bridge, Goathland; Eskdale Road, Whitby; Queens Drive, Whitby; Kingfisher Drive, Whitby; Key Green to Wheeldale Road, Egton; Ugthorpe grange to Guisborough to Whitby Road; Hollins Cottages to Fair Head Lane, Grosmont for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 26/08/24 & 31/03/25, due to surface dressing & patching works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Vehicles will also be prohibited from parking along the above roads, as & when works are in progress & will be put into effect by notices & signs. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, St Andrews Road, Whitby, Order 2024, No. 301 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using St Andrews Road, Whitby for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 09/09/24 & 20/09/24, due to Gas main replacement works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 27/09/24 in case of any unforeseen delays. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
