TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401327 THRUPP LANE

(BRISCOMBE AND THRUPP PARISH STROUD DISTRICT)

Gloucestershire County Council, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order to temporarily close part of 401327 Thrupp Lane from outside the property known as ‘The Thrupp’ to outside the property known as No. 56 for a distance of approximately 82 metres.

The reason for the closure is to facilitate cover repair and maintenance works by Severn Trent Water.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF C268 BUTTERROW HILL ROAD

(RODBOROUGH PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT)

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C268 Butterrow Hill Road from outside the property known as ‘Ivy Cottage’ to outside of the property known as ‘Robin House’ for a length of approximately 68 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for manhole repair works by Severn Trent Water.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS EEA 14 & EEA 15

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order to close temporarily, under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of the Public Footpaths in the Schedule below:

SCHEDULE

Part of Public Footpath EEA 14 in the Parishes of Eastington & Great Oldbury from its junction with Public Footpath EEA 15 at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SO 79307/06854 and then extends in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 234 metres to its junction with EEA 16 at OSGR SO 79003/06924 as shown on the Map by a bold solid black line marked A – B.

Part of Public Footpath EEA 15 in the Parishes of Eastington & Great Oldbury from its junction with Public Footpath EEA 14 at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SO 79307/06854 and then extends in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 393 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EEA 16 at OSGR SO 79105/06976 as shown on the Map by a bold solid black line marked A – C – D – E – B.

The closures are necessary to safeguard the public whilst construction works take place.

The Order will come into force on the 27th August 2024, and it is anticipated that the footpaths will remain closed until the 27th February 2025. After this period, if the works have not been completed, then the Order may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport.

Alternative Route – as indicated on the Order Plan by a dash black line marked A – C – D – E – B. Pedestrian access to neighbouring properties, and emergency access will be maintained. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405861 Fevister Road, from its junction with Fewster Square to outside the property known as ‘Holcot’, for a distance of approximately 43 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works by National Grid.

The reason for the said closure is for farm/resurfacing works.
