What is happening?
CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(Bartlow Road, Linton) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2024 and Cambridgeshire County Council (A1307 Linton to Horseheath and Dean Road, Linton and Horseheath) (Prohibition of Right Turn and U-Turn) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 14th August 2024 Cambridgeshire County Council made Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of these is to introduce a 50mph speed limit on Bartlow Road from its new roundabout junction with A1307 Linton Bypass in a southerly direction for 185m; a No Right Turn Ban for traffic proceeding on Dean Road from the direction of Bartlow and entering A1307 Linton to Horseheath Road; and No U-Turn Bans for eastbound and westbound traffic on A1307 Linton to Horseheath Road at various gaps and at the ends of the dual carriageway.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the 14th August 2024 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
