Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Goose Track Lane, West Lilling, Order 2024, No. 284
We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Goose Track Lane, West Lilling for a temporary period of 16 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 26/0/24 & 31/12/24, due to the installation of a new drainage system. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Dolegate, Buttercrambe, Order 2024, No. 287
We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Dolegate, Buttercrambe for a temporary period of 5 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 27/08/24 & 29/11/24, due to bridge repairs. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Willowgate, Pickering, Order 2024, No. 303
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Willowgate, Pickering for a temporary period of 2 weeks (subject to access to premises) between 09/09/24 & 25/10/24, due to the installation of a new drainage connection. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. 30 Mph & 40 Mph Speed Limit, Various Roads, West Heslerton, Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that on 16/08/24 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 & 40 mph on any length of road specified:- Part 1-30 mph Speed Limit Church Street, from the centre line of its Northern junction with White Gate, anti-clockwise for a distance of 295 metres. Scarborough Road, from the centre line of its junction with Church Street, for a distance of 178.8 metres. High Street, from the centre line of its junction with Church Street, for a distance of 338.0 metres. Rectory Close, from the centre line of its junction with High Street, for a distance of 56.4 metres. Part 2-40 mph Speed Limit White Gate, from the centre line of its junction with A64, Southwards for a distance of 204 metres. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 26/08/24, may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Malton Library, St Michael Street, Malton, North Yorkshire Y017 7LJ during normal office hours from 21 /08/24 until 27/09/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 16/08/24 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Public Footpath 25.85/42/2 Sheriff Hutton, Order 2024 No 312
We have made this Order to prohibit any pedestrian from using the Public Footpath 25.85/42/2 in the Parish of Sheriff Hutton, between grid reference SE67776817 & SE67936763 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 22/08/24 & 28/02/25, to ensure public safety whilst forestry operations take place to fell infected timber. This Order follows an emergency closure under Emergency Notice No 274 which commenced on 01/08/24. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, East Moor To Cockayne, Helmsley, Order 2024 No 177
North Yorkshire Council has extended this Order to continue in force until 31/12/24, which is to prohibit any vehicle from using East Moor To Cockayne, Helmsley due to bridge reconstruction works.
