Manson Mews - Temporary Road Closures For Building Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES MANSON MEWS
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR BUILDING WORKS.
Manson Mews to be closed at the junction of Queen’s Gate.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 02nd September 2024 until 17.00hrs on Friday 20th December 2024, with backup dates of Monday 09th September 2024 until Sunday 12th January 2025, or until the works are completed.
Diverted through traffic may use Queen’s Gate, Stanhope Gardens, Gloucester Road, Old Brompton Road, Clareville Street, Manson Mews.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
