THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL

(KIRKINTILLOCH ROAD, LENZIE)

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

On the 20 August 2024 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works, and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on Kirkintilloch Road, Lenzie between its junctions with Gallowhill Road and Laurel Avenue, Lenzie by reason of works being executed on or near this road.

This Order will operate from 09.00 hours on Sunday, 08 September 2024 until 18.00 hours on Sunday,  15 September 2024.

Alternative Routes

Alternative routes will be by way of the B757 Lenzie Road, Townhead, Parliament Road, the A806 Initiative

Road, Kirkintilloch and Lenzie, the B819 Lindsaybeg

Road, the B757 Auchinloch Road, the B819 Crosshill Road, Boghead Road, Gallowhill Road, Lenzie, and these routes will be sign posted. Local alternative routes will be by way of the B757 Kirkntilloch Road, Garngaber Avenue and Woodilee Road, Kirkintilloch and these local routes will also be sign posted.
