Public Path Diversion and
Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2024

The above order, made on 12 August 2024 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert parts of public Footpath Nos. 4 and 7, Upton Pyne running from their current routes in two fields north of Glebelands Farm to new lines, Footpath No.4 from B GR SX(9080,9806) running west south west to point C GR SX(90659799) and Footpath No.7 running west south west from point D GR SX(9097,9800) to point E GR SX(9084,9795)

A copy of the order and the order map can be seen at www.devon.gov.uk/haveyoursay and may be seen free of charge at the offices of East Devon District Council, Heathpark Way, Honiton EX14 1SF, from 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, at or on request to the Clerk to the Parish Council. Copies of the order and map may be bought from the address below at the price of £5.00.

Any representations about or objections to the order must be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way, Great Moor House, Cleave Tor Room, Bittern Road, Sowton, Exeter, Devon, EX2 7NL not later than 23 September 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

Copies of any objections or representations received may be circulated to interested parties. If no such representations or objection are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Devon County Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order.

If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
