What is happening?

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (TARIFFS AND CHARGES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024 REVISION OF PAY AND DISPLAY CHARGES AND PERMIT CHARGES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce the following: - Yellow Line Waivers

4. The charge for a yellow line waiver is:

4.1. £15 per day if purchased more than 24 hours in advance.

4.2. £20 per day if purchased within 24 hours of use. Residents' Permits

5. The charge for a residents' permit is £35, with no refund available. Visitors' Permits

6. The charges for visitors' permits are:

6.1. First permit: £35

6.2. Second or subsequent permit (if permitted): £40

6.3. No refund available for any visitors' permit. Business Permits

7. The charges for business permits are:

7.1. General: £80 per annum

7.2. Little Germany: £420 per annum

7.3. Ilkley: £250 per annum

7.4. Refund: One-twelfth of the annual amount paid for each complete unused month, except where the refund would be less than £15.

Ilkley Workers Contracts

8. The charge for an Ilkley workers contract is £250. The refund follows the same policy as business permits.

Special Parking Permits

9. The charge for a special parking permit is £35 per annum, with no refund available. Parking Dispensations

10. The charges for parking dispensations are:

10.1. £35 per annum for a professional health or social carer

10.2. £15 per day if purchased more than 24 hours in advance

10.3. £20 per day if purchased within 24 hours of use for all other users

10.4. £10 per week for a landlord/contractor working in a residential permit area Tariff Code - Tariff (£)

A copy of the draft Order and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY or examined on the council web site at https://www.bradfbrd.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order or obtained from Senior Engineer (Projects), Miguel D'Souza, Planning, Transportation & Highways Service by telephone on 07890 971246 or by email miguel.dsouza@bradford.gov.uk

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing either by post to the address below or by e-mail to Objections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon on 16th September 2024 quoting reference:- CORP/PCD/JLF/416027.
