Friarn Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

Somerset Council Parish of Bridgwater Temporary Closure of Friarn Street

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Friarn Street - from the junction with Priory Court to the junction Silver Street. A total distance of 80 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection works.

The Order becomes effective on 20th August 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 27th August 2024 and last until 30th August 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 4 days.
