What is happening?

WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL

PROPOSED PARKING AMENDMENTS

VARIOUS STREETS IN THE BOROUGH

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Order under sections 6, 45, 46 and 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

    • *The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. *) Order 202;
    • The Wandsworth (Putney) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 20
    • The Wandsworth (Roehampton) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 20
  2. The general effect of the Order will be to make changes as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

  3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.

  4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below (quoting reference W/ECS/TMO2057) within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

Luttrell Avenue, SW15

To introduce a 5 metre length of double yellow line (“no waiting at any time”) outside No. 3 Luttrell Avenue to facilitate a crossover, and to make consequential changes to the length of parking bay.

Malbrook Road, SW15

To introduce a 3.60 metre length of double yellow line (“no waiting at any time”) outside Flat 1 Malbrook Court, 9 Malbrook Road to facilitate a crossover, and to make consequential changes to the length of parking bay.

Rodway Road, SW15

To introduce a 3.60 metre length of double yellow line (“no waiting at any time”) outside No. 8 Rodway Road to facilitate a crossover, and to make consequential changes to the length of parking bay.

Keswick Road, SW15

To introduce two lengths of double yellow lines (“no waiting at any time”) outside Nos 54/56 Keswick Road Road to facilitate a crossover, and to make consequential changes to the length of parking bay.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – ALDIS STREET SW17

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Aldis Street to facilitate Hyperoptic utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Aldis Street at the junction of Tooting High Street. There will be no waiting Saturday & Sunday 20:00 - 05:00.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 31 August 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 1 September 2024.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION – AVOCA ROAD SW17

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Avoca Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, temporary waiting restrictions will be introduced on Avoca Road from the junction of Tooting Bec Road to outside number 63. There will be no waiting at any time

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 28 August 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 2 September 2024.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – FORTHBRIDGE ROAD SW4

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Forthbridge Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Forthbridge Road at the junction with Clapham Common North Side. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 28 August 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 30 August 2024.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – FROGMORE SW18

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Frogmore to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Frogmore at the junction of Putney Bridge Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 27 August 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 29 August 2024.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – RAVENSLEA ROAD SW12

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Ravenslea Road to facilitate Southern Gas Network works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Ravenslea Road from outside number 173 to outside number 211. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 27 August 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 9 September 2024.
