Folkestone and Hythe, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices
What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
FOLKESTONE & HYTHE AREA
B2080 RHEE WALL, BRENZETT, TN29 9UB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow carriageway works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2080 Rhee Wall, Brenzett, on or after 9th September 2024 for up to 17 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Ashford Road and A259 Rhee Wall, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A2070 Rhee Wall To Ashford Road, Ashford Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
ALBERT LANE, HYTHE, CT21 6DJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Albert Lane, Hythe, on or after 29th August 2024 for up to 8 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Elizabeth Gardens and Stade Street, between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stade Street, Park Road, Albert Road, Albert Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
BARGROVE & BLACKHOUSE HILL, NEWINGTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow carriageway patching to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bargrove & Blackhouse Hill, Newington, on or after 29th August 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
Bargrove will be closed between the junctions of Channel Tunnel and Blackhouse Hill, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Blackhouse Hill will be closed between the junctions of Bargrove and Cliff Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The closures will be between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 only.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Blackhouse Hill, Station Road, North Road, Tanners Hill, School Road, The Green, Sandling Road, A20 Sandling Road, A20 Ashford Road, Bargrove and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
BROAD STREET & COCK ASH LANE, MONKS HORTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Broad Street & Cock Ash Lane, Monks Horton, on or after 11th September 2024 for up to 6 hours or until the works have been completed.
Broad Street will be closed between the junctions of Fiddling Lane and Church Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Broad Street, Blind House Lane, Swan Lane, A20 Main Road, Stone Hill, Southenay Lane and vice versa.
Cock Ash Lane will be closed between the junctions of Broad Street and Moorstock Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Broad Street, Blind House Lane, Swan Lane, A20 Main Road, Moorstock Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
ELIZABETH GARDENS, HYTHE, CT21 6BL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Elizabeth Gardens, Hythe, on or after 11th September 2024 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed the entire length, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Albert Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
HIGH MINNIS, RHODES MINNIS, CT4 6XY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Minnis, Rhodes Minnis, on or after 10th September 2024 for up to 10 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Mockbeggar to approximately 530m Northwest, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via High Minnis, Wheelbarrow Town, Bossingham Road, Curtis Lane, B2068 Stone Street, Mockbeggar and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
