What is happening?

NOTICE OF ORDER HAVING BEEN MADE THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT ORDER NO. 2024.2137319 STONEHOUSE CREEK) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL have made the above named Order under its powers 32, 33, 35 and 124 and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as the 1984 Act) and all other powers enabling them in that behalf and following consultation in accordance with Schedule 9 of the 1984 Act and the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996:

The effect of the order shall be to: Introduce permit parking and pay and display charges of £1 per hour, up to a 5 hour maximum stay (permit holders exempt) at Stonehouse Creek car park.

Subject to Schedule 9 Part VI of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions in it on the grounds that the Order is not within the relevant powers or that any of the relevant requirements or regulations made hereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
