What is happening?

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS ACACIA AVENUE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Acacia Avenue.

The Order would come into effect from 27th August 2024 is required to renew water mains work and associated works to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 31 August 2024.

Exemptions would be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(d) local vehicular access to the closed section Acacia Avenue.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS JASMINE GROVE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), intends to make a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Jasmine Grove for its full length.

The Order would come into effect at 00:01 hours on Monday 26th August 2024 and is required to allow Coventry City Council to safely demolish a redundant building on or near the said road.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by Friday 30th August 2024.

The specific closure times would apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic would be as signed on site.

Exemptions would be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(d) local vehicular access to Jasmine Grove

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS ALDBOURNE ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along the length of Aldbourne Road commencing from its junction with Widdrington Road and continuing along the highway until the point fronting house number 107.

The Order will come into effect from 08:00 hours on Monday 19th August 2024 and is required for facilitate communication pipe works on the highway to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 18:00 hours on Thursday 22nd August 2024.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works

(d) local vehicular access to Aldbourne Road

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS SPENCER AVENUE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering, proceeding along Spencer Avenue between its junction with Albany Road and its junction with Dalton Road.

The Order will come into effect from 08:00 hours on Monday 19th August 2024 and is required for allow Severn Trent Water to carry out water connection renewal works on the highway to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by 18:00 hours on Wednesday 28th August 2024.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works

(d) local vehicular access to Spencer Avenue

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS VARIOUS ROADS, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on the lengths of road detailed in the Schedule below

The Order will come into effect on 07:00 hours on Friday 16th August 2024 and is required to enable carriageway live labs, surface treatments and associated works to take place safely on the said roads.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Friday 30th August 2024.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site and access to premises would be maintained wherever possible.

• London Road – From Whitley Interchange to Island by Ringway

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(d) local vehicular access to and egress to properties on the closed section of the roads

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY PARKING & TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS MANOR ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order would be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Manor Road.

The Order would come into effect from 19 August 2024 is required to road marking installation and associated works to take place safely.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works would be completed by 23 August 2024.

Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(d) local vehicular access to the closed section Manor Road

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY/ FOOTPATH CLOSURE FOOTPATHS M309 AND M311

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be a closure of the lengths of footpath detailed in the Schedule below (when appropriate signage is in place).

The Order will come into operation at 00.01 on Monday 26th August 2024 and is required to enable the safe construction of a new housing development and realignment of the Public Right of Way. Closure times will be as signed on site.

The Order will remain valid for six (6) months.

Any alternative route for pedestrians will be signed on site.

Exemptions will be provided for: -

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) anyone in connection with the execution of the said works; and

(c) local pedestrian access

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS FOR EVENTS AT THE COVENTRY BUILDING SOCIETY ARENA) ORDER 2024/25

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding along those lengths of road as set out in Schedule 1 below on the dates specified in Schedule 2 between the hours of 16:30 and 22:45.

The Order will come into effect at 21:00 on 16th August 2024 and is required to enable the safe access and egress from events and sporting fixtures at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

There may events in addition to those listed in Schedule 2 or events which are rearranged once this Order is made. In such circumstances the road closures listed in Schedule 1 may be activated by signage on site.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the closures will be sign posted on site. Pedestrian access to premises on the affected lengths of road would be maintained at all times.

Exemptions will be provided for:-

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or an accredited traffic marshal.

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles when necessary, at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the events taking place.

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Shortley Road for its full length.

The Order will come into effect on 00:01 hours on Tuesday 27th August 2024 and is required to allow Severn Trent Water to carry out permanent re-instatement of the Footway and Carriageway on the said road.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Wednesday 28th August 2024.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;

(d) local vehicular access to Shortley Road.

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS NEWBOLD CLOSE, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading or unloading, entering or proceeding on Newbold Close for its full length.

The Order will come into effect on 00:01 hours on Tuesday 27th August 2024 and is required to allow National Grid to install a new service connection on the said road.

The maximum duration of the Order is eighteen (18) months or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is expected that the works will be completed by Friday 30th August 2024.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site.

Exemptions will be provided for:

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;
