HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BRAMFIELD LANE, WATERFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bramfield Lane, Waterford from its junction with A119 High Road south westwards to its junction with Main Road, a distance of approximately 967m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A119 (High Road/North Road), Bramfield Road and Tattle Hill.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN CHURCH LANE, WORMLEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Church Lane, Wormley from its junction with A1170 High Road north westwards to its junction with West End Road, a distance of approximately 1389m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A1170 High Road, Bell Lane, Baas Hill, Spring Walk and Church Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF OSBORNE ROAD, BROXBOURNE) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Osborne Road, Broxbourne from its easternmost junction with St Catharines Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 15m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via St Catharines Road and Osborne Road.
The Order is needed because excavation works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A119 LONDON ROAD, WARE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A119 London Road, Ware from its junction with John Gilpin Close north westwards for a distance of approximately 100m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A119 London Road, A1170 (London Road/ Amwell Hill/ Pepper Hill), A10 (Amwell Link Road/unnamed road), A414 (Rush Green Link/London Road) and A119 (Ware Road/Hertford Road/ London Road).

(TEMPORARY 50MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON VARIOUS ROADS IN HERTFORD AND WARE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from driving at a speed exceeding 50mph on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), when signs are in place:-
1. the A10 northbound slip road leading onto the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), Hertford from its junction with the A10 Rush Green roundabout north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 678m.
2. the southbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), Ware from a point 1038m north east of its junction with the A602 Westmill Road roundabout south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 3400m.
3. the northbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), Ware from a point 1066m north west of its junction with the A10 Amwell Link Road roundabout north westwards for a distance of approximately 2712m.
4. the A10 southbound slip road leading onto the southbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), Hertford from its junction with the A602 Westmill Road roundabout south westwards to its junction with the southbound carriageway of A10 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 722m.
The Order is needed because bridge works are proposed to be executed near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HERTINGFORDBURY ROAD, HERTFORD) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hertingfordbury Road, Hertford from its northernmost junction with St Marys Lane north westwards and northwards for a distance of approximately 159m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Hertingfordbury Road, The Old Coach Road, Birchall Lane, A414 Cole Green Bypass and Hertingfordbury Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 September 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE STREET, BRAUGHING) ORDER NO.3 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Street, Braughing from its junction with Friars Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 52m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Pelham Road, Braughing Road, Patient End, C35 (unnamed road), C15 (unnamed road), Gravesend, Clapgate, Albury Road, Standon Road, A120 (Standon Road/Stortford Road/Kents Lane/ Standon Road), A10 Puckeridge Bypass, B1368 (Wickham Hill/Station Road), Fore Street and The Street.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of 3U157 (unnamed road), Hunsdon from its junction with B1004 Ware Road north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with C41 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 1171m.
An alternative route will be via B1004 (Ware Road/Widbury Hill/Star Street), A1170 High Street, New Road, Musley Hill, Fanhams Hall Road and C41 (unnamed road).
2. that length of 3U158 (unnamed road), Wareside from its junction with B1004 Ware Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 384m.
An alternative route will be via B1004 (Ware Road/Widbury Hill/Star Street), A1170 High Street, New Road, Musley Hill, Fanhams Hall Road, C41 (unnamed road) and 3U157 (unnamed road).
3. that length of C41 (unnamed road), Babbs Green from its junction with 3U157 (unnamed road) north eastwards to its junction with Fanhams Hall Road, a distance of approximately 435m.
An alternative route will be via 3U157 (unnamed road), B1004 (Ware Road/ Widbury Hill/ Star Street), A1170 High Street, New Road, Musley Hill and Fanhams Hall Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 19 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of A602 Hooks Cross, Watton at Stone/Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Watton at Stone Bypass/High Street roundabout north westwards to its junction with A602 Broadhall Way, a distance of approximately 2375m.
An alternative route will be via A602 (Watton at Stone Bypass/Ware Road/ Tonwell Bypass/ Westmill Road), A10 (unnamed road), A414 (Rush Green Link/London Road/Gascoyne Way/Hertingfordbury Road/Cole Green Bypass/ Hatfield Road/Hertford Road/Mount Pleasant Lane/Great North Road), the A1(M) and A602 Broadhall Way or via A602 Broadhall Way, the A1(M), A414 (Great North Road/Hertford Road/Hatfield Road/Cole Green Bypass/ Hertingfordbury Road/Gascoyne Way/London Road/Rush Green Link), A10 (unnamed road) and A602 (Westmill Road/Tonwell Bypass/Ware Road/ Watton at Stone Bypass) or via A602 Watton at Stone Bypass, A119 (Hertford Road/High Road/North Road), B1000 (Welwyn Road/Hertford Road/ Waterside), A1000 (Mundells/Bessemer Road/Hertford Road/Welwyn Bypass Road), B197 (Great North Road/Mardley Hill/London Road/Stevenage Road/ London Road/Monkswood Way) and A602 Broadhall Way.
2. that length of Little Widbury Lane, Ware from its junction with Winton Road south eastwards to its junction with B1004 Widbury Hill, a distance of approximately 324m.
An alternative route will be via Winton Road, Cromwell Road, Jeffries Road, Vicarage Road and B1004 Widbury Hill.
3. that length of Lower Green, Tewin from its junction with School Lane north eastwards to its junction with Cannons Meadow, a distance of approximately 82m.
An alternative route will be via Lower Green.
4. that length of Riversmeet, Hertford from a point 40m south east of its junction with A414 Hertingfordbury Road south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 120m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. that length of Riversmeet, Hertford from a point 67m south east of its junction with A414 Hertingfordbury Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 20m.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF B1037 STEVENAGE ROAD, WALKERN) ORDER NO.3 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1037 Stevenage Road, Walkern from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.70 Stevenage Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via B1037 (Stevenage Road/High Street/White Hill/unnamed road), A507 (Baldock Road/unnamed road/Clothall Road), B656 Whitehorse Street, B197 (High Street/London Road), A505 Baldock Bypass, B197 (Jacks Hill/High Street/Graveley Road), A602 Hitchin Road, A1072 Martins Way, A1155 Verity Way and B1037 (Fairlands Way/ Stevenage Road).

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN EASTWICK) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Eastwick Hall Lane, Eastwick from its junction with A414 Eastwick Road north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 40m, except for access.
An alternative route will be via A414 Eastwick Road, Eastwick Road and Eastwick Hall Lane.
2. To prohibit vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 40mph on that length of A414 Eastwick Road, Eastwick from its junction with Church Lane south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the A414 Fifth Avenue roundabout, a distance of approximately 2213m, when signs are in place.
The Order is needed because utility service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been and shall come into force on 19 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ANDREWS LANE, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Andrews Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with Rosedale Way north westwards to its junction with Hastings Avenue, a distance of approximately 72m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Rosedale Way, B156 Goffs Lane, Newgatestreet Road, St James Road, Rags Lane and Andrews Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (WEST ROAD, SAWBRIDGEWORTH)
(REVOCATION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (1984 Act) to introduce a revocation of waiting restrictions on part of West Road, Sawbridgeworth as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Monday 2 September 2024.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be viewed from 15 August 2024 to 26 September 2024 during office hours at Main Reception, County Hall, Hertford or online at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting East Herts and looking at Ref: EH01024.

SCHEDULE: Revocation of no waiting at any time – that section of road listed below and as set out in the Order and scheme plan – part of West Road, outside Nos. 66 to 70 West Road.
