Dunswell Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic For Carriageway Repair Works
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC DUNSWELL LANE, DUNSWELL
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Dunswell Lane, Dunswell (A1174 Beverley Road junction to Old Dunswell Lane junction) commencing Monday 2 September 2024 to allow for carriageway repair works to take place.
The Road Closure is necessary to enable the closure to go ahead in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 5 September 2024.
The alternative route for traffic affected by this closure will be via A1174 Beverley Road, A1079 Dunswell roundabout, A1079 Beverley Road (Hull), Greenwood Avenue (Hull), Endike Lane (Hull), Endyke Lane, New Village Road, Dunswell Road and return. Access will be maintained for pedestrians, residents access and emergency services.
