What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
PUBLIC FOOTPATH FROM COVENTRY ROAD TO CAPE ROAD, WARWICK
Order Effect: That section of the Public Footpath USRN 42302578 between Lakin Road and Woodcote Road will be closed to ALL traffic.
Reason for Order: For the safety of the public and to safely enable safe delivery of materials and plant.
Order Commences: 16 August 2024 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 February 2025.
Access & Diversion: Lakin Road, Woodcote Road and vice versa.

THE APPROACH, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Installation of new water connection.
Order Commences: 21 August 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 23 August 2024.
Access & Diversion: Baker Avenue, Tachbrook Road, Kingsway, The Approach and vice versa.

THE OLD GATED ROAD, CHESTERTON
Order Effect: Road closed from B4100 Chesterton Hill Road. Reason for Order: Access route into new Foul Pumping Station.
Order Commences: 23 August 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: Banbury Road, Fosse Way, Windmill Hill Lane, Church Road and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
A4177 BIRMINGHAM ROAD, BUDBROOKE
Order Effect: Right Turns from Birmingham Road onto Parr Drive will be prohibited.
Reason for Order: In connection with construction works relating to the Union View development.
Order Commences: 30 August 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 24 December 2024
Access Diversion: Please divert using the roundabout on A4177 returning to make a left turn into Parr Drive.

D44120 THOMAS STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Lansdowne Street and King Street. Reason for Order: To enable works for investigation and repair of void in carriageway, 0930-1530hrs.
Order Commences: 4 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 5 September 2024. Access & Diversion: Lansdowne Street, Willes Road,
Lansdown Circus, Thomas Street and vice versa

BURY ROAD, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Cable installation & associated works. Please note works will be completed in phases along Bury Road.
Order Commences: 4 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 26 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Diversion routes will be appropriately signed.

CROSS STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from a point outside properties 14-16.
Reason for Order: to enable works connection of a new combined sewer onto an existing mains sewer.
Order Commences: 2 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 6 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Cross Street, Willes Road, Clarendon Street and vice versa.

D6033 ARGYLE WAY, D6034 CHURCH LEES & D6035 CROFT CLOSE, BISHOPS TACHBROOK
Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Argyle Way closed from its junction Church Lees for 30 metres, Church Lees closed in its entirety from its junction with Mallory Road, and Croft Close closed in its entirety from its junction with Church Lees.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs weekdays only.
Order Commences: 2 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: For Argyle Way – Access/Egress will be via St. Chads Road only. For Church Lees and Croft Close there is no suitable diversion.

Order Effect: Road closed in its entirety from Glasshouse Lane.
Reason for Order: Footway patching works, closed 08.00hrs14.00 hrs.
Order Commences: 6 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 6 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

D50930 STATION ROAD, SHREWLEY
Order Effect: Road closed between Pinley Road and Hockley Road.
Reason for Order: Footway patching and drainage works, closed 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 5 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 6 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Hockley Road, Hatton Road, Pinley Road and vice versa.

KENILWORTH STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Warwick Street and Regent Street.
Reason for Order: To enable works for renewal of a water hydrant.
Order Commences: 2 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 4 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Warwick Street, Park Street, Regent Street and vice versa

PUBLIC FOOTPATH EUROPA WAY AND QUEENSWAY, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Footway closed to ALL traffic from the controlled crossing on Queensway and the controlled crossing on Europa Way (South of the Myton Road roundabout).
Reason for Order: In connection with Europa Way junction improvement, new carriageway construction and traffic signals.
Order Commences: 2 September 2024 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 20 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: Cycleway from Europa Way Bridge to Queensway, Queensway, Cycleway from Myton Road to Westlea Road, footpath from Old Warwick Road to Cycleway Myton Road to Westlea Road, Old Warwick Road and vice versa.

WELSH ROAD, OFFCHURCH, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Pole testing and associated works.
Order Commences: 4 September 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 4 September 2024.
Access & Diversion: Welsh Road, Fosse Way, Hunningham Road, Rugby Road, Windmill Hill, Offchurch Road, Cross Lane and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
