What is happening?

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Market Place, Richmond, Order 2024, No. 274
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Market Place, Richmond for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 02/09/24 & 07/10/24, due to cobbling repair works. However, the max duration of this Order is from 01/09/24 until 21/10/24. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Site 2 - U1355, Wells Lane, Barton (From its junction with Wells Green, northwards to its junction with C12 Silver Street). Site 3 - C151, The Green and Marygate, Barton (From its junction with C12 Silver Street, eastwards to its junction with Wells Lane). Site 4 - C12, Barton to Barton Interchange Roundabout, Barton (From its junction with A6055, northwards to its junction with the road to the property known as Field Barn). Site 6 - U1246, Theakston Lane, Holly Hill (The entire length of the road from its junction with A6136, westwards to its junction with C129 at Holly Hill). Site 8 - B6271, Bolton-on-Swale to District Boundary, Bolton-on-Swale (From its junction with B1263, eastwards to its junction with the access lane to Kiplin). Site 9 - C31, Newton-le-Willows to No Mans Moor Lane, Newton-le-Willows (From its junction with Sinks Lane, northwards to the cross roads in Newton-le-Willows). Site 10 - U1461, Moor End Lane, Newton-le-Willows (From its junction with No Man's Moor Lane, eastwards to its junction with Sinks Lane). Site 13 - A6108, Bellerby Village, Bellerby (From its junction with C34 North of Runs Bank, southwards to its junction with Church Street in Bellerby). Site 14 - C35, Redmire to Wensley Road, Wensley (From its junction with A684 in Wensley, westwards, to its junction with C34 at Scarth Nick). Site 17 -U221, Skellgill Lane, Askrigg (From its junction with road to Helm, westwards to property known as Skellgill Farm). Site 20 - A684, Bainbridge to Hawes Road, Burtersett (From its junction at start / end of one way system in Bainbridge, westwards to its junction with Mire Bank Lane, Burtersett). Site 21 - A684, Hawes to Garsdale Head, Hawes (From its junction with B6255 in Hawes, westwards, to its junction with C34 to Hardraw). for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 19/08/24 & 31/03/25, due to carriageway patching works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 31/12/25.
