ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF BACK LANE

PART OF SCHOOL LANE AND

PART OF THRYBERGH LANE THRYBERGH ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the three parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice from Monday 19th. August until Monday 23rd. September 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via A630 Doncaster Road, Ravenfield Lane and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Drainage works).

Schedule

(i)             Back Lane from its junction with School Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction.

(ii)            School Lane from its junction with Back Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a south westerly direction.

(iii)           Thrybergh Lane from its junction with School Lane and Back Lane for a distance of approximately 100m in an easterly direction.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF COMMON LANE LAUGHTON SHEFFIELD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Common Lane from its junction with Laughton Common Road to its junction with Rotherham Lane from Tuesday 27th. August until Thursday 29th. August 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected will be via Laughton Road, Sandy lane, B6060 Green Arbour Road, B6060 Laughton Common Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the part of road (Installation of Telecoms services).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF POPLAR AVENUE AND

PART OF ROCKLAND DRIVE THRYBERGH ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice from Tuesday 27th. August until Friday 30th. August 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes will be via local neighbouring streets.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Installation of Telecoms services).

Schedule

(i)             Poplar Avenue from its junction with A630 Doncaster Road to the Western kerb line of Fullerton Drive.

(ii)            Rockcliffe Drive from its junction with Poplar Avenue for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a Southerly direction.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.16 RAVENFIELD ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath No.16 Ravenfield  from a point at Hollings Lane at Grid Reference SK 4842 9367 and proceeding in a southerly direction for 75m to a point at the end of the woodland at Grid reference SK 4842 9360 from Monday 19th August until Monday 26th August 2024.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for pedestrians affected by the Order.

Reason for the prohibition – because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath (installation of duct for Cityfibre network).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF SHEEP COTE ROAD BRECKS ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Sheep Cote Road, Brecks from its junction with A631 Bawtry Road outside property No.1 Sheep cote Road for a distance of 30m in a southerly direction from 8am on Monday 19th. August until 6pm on Sunday 25th. August 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route is via A631 Bawtry Road, Shrogswood Road, Sheep Cote Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Clearance of fibre network blockage).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF STATION ROAD CATCLIFFE ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Station Road from its junction with St Marys Drive for a distance of 15 meters in a westerly and easterly direction for a period of up to two weeks between Monday 19th. August and Friday 27th. September 2024.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via B6066 Main Street, St Marys Drive and Vice Versa.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of electrical apparatus).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

FREDERICK STREET CATCLIFFE AND

CHAPEL WALK FOOTPATH 2 CATCLIFFE ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIANS)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Frederick Steet and to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along Chapel Walk Footpath 2 Catcliffe for up to three weeks between Monday 19th. August and Friday 27th. September 2024. Access will be maintained for residents.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac. The alternative route for pedestrians will be via footways adjoining local neighbouring streets.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and footpath (Installation of electrical apparatus).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF SHEFFIELD LANE CATCLIFFE ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY ORDER)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to:-

1.    Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Sheffield Lane from its Junction with Willian Drive to its junction with Railway Avenue for a period of up to six weeks between Monday 19th. August and Friday 27th. September 2024.   

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via B6066 Orgreave Road and B6533 Poplar Way.

 1. Temporarily suspend the One Way Order relating to Sheffield Lane and to allow two way traffic between its junction with Fenney Way and its junction with The Croft for a period of up to six weeks between Monday 19th. August and Friday 27th. September 2024. 

The reason for the prohibition and revocation is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Installation of electrical apparatus).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Sheffield Lane, Catcliffe from its junction with Fenney Way to its junction with The Croft for a period of up to three weeks between Monday 19th. August and Friday 27th. September 2024.   

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via B6066 Orgreave Road, B6533 Poplar Way and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of electrical apparatus).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the three parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice in sections between Monday 19th August and Friday 27th September 2024.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Installation of Electrical Apparatus).

Schedule

(i)             St. Marys Drive from its junction with Rotherham Road to its junction with Station Road (the alternative route will be via B6066 Main Street, Station Road and vice versa).

(ii)           Church Lane at its junction with St. Marys Drive (there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac).

(iii)         Tristford Close at its junction with St. Marys Drive (there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

FAIRFIELD CLOSE FOOTPATH AND CYCLE TRACK SUNNYSIDE ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS AND CYCLISTS)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Fairfield Close Footpath and cycle track from the northern kerb line of Green Bank Drive for a distance of 30 metres in a northerly direction from Monday 19th. August until Friday 23rd August 2024 between 8am and 6pm each day.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for pedestrians will be via local neighbouring footways and local neighbouring roads and cycle tracks for cyclists.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath (Telecommunications works).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF B6066 WHITEHILL LANE BRINSWORTH ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of B6066 Whitehill Lane, Brinsworth from a point approximately 50 metres south of its junction with New Brinsworth Road for a distance of approximately 50 metres in a southerly direction on two occasions between Monday 26th August and Friday 30th. August 2024 between 8pm and 6am each day.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via B6066 Rotherham Road, B6067 Treeton Lane, B6067 Mill Lane, B6067 Well Lane, B6067 High Hazel Road, B6067 Treeton Lane, A618 Pleasley Road, A631 West Bawtry Road, A630 West Bawtry Road, A6178 Sheffield Road, A631 Bawtry Road, B6066 Whitehill Lane and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of 2 new manholes and service connections).
