Hud's Force and Hollins West, Cowgill - Temporary Road Closure due to Works.

(C5101 HUD'S FORCE AND HOLLINS WEST, COWGILL)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable highway works to retaining walls to be carried out ("the Works"), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the C5101 Hud's Force and Hollins West, Cowgill, from its junction with the U5475, extending in a south westerly direction for approx 800metres.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and a suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the B6255, A684 and the unrestricted section of the C5101 Cowgill.

The Order will come into operation on 2nd September 2024 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 4 weeks and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
