Oldham Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic For Carriageway Resurfacing

MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER_ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000139608102.:The City of Manchester (Oldham Road, Piccadilly Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Oldham Road From Thompson street to Livesey street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Thompson Street, Rochdale Road, Livesey Street,and Vice Versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate. Carriageway Resurfacing. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 19th August 2024 to 24th August 2024 between the hours of 20:00 and 04:00. The order shall come into operation on 19th August 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. ORDER NO. MCC000139693446: The City of Manchester (Upper Chorlton Road, Old Trafford Ward) (Temporary Closure of Cycle Lane) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedal cycle (and any pedestrian) from proceeding at any time in the following length of cycle lane: Upper Chorlton Road. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate a frame and cover replacement. It is expected that the works will be in progress on the 19th August 2024 between the hours of 19:00 and 22:00. The order shall come into operation on the 19th August 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
